How Can I Overcome Fears of Death and Dying?

Question: How can I overcome fears of death and dying?

Answer: When we know ourselves spiritually, there’s no fear of anything that can happen in this world. So when you experience fear of death or dying, that’s letting you know you’re dealing with the great illusion, the great lie.

There’s a part of death that has to do with the end of your life in this world. But your life continues past this world. You can know that more directly just by knowing it in your heart.

The beauty of the heart is it transcends fear. So if you’re looking for something that would solve the fear of death, move your awareness within. Move into the spirit. As soon as you realize your spirit is alive, death becomes nothing.

Whatever this world would do, all the end points, all the finite relationships that are here, there is something after that. There is an afterlife. If you want to have that experience, and you're willing to do something about it, then move. You don't have to believe there's an afterlife. Go experience it.

Where do we go? Inside. How do we do that? Self-awareness now. And we direct it inside through spiritual exercise.

Move to natural knowing. Move to your awareness within. That's what we teach in the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness --- the self-awareness, the living and loving that is beyond this world in the Spirit. It is entirely present, here and now.
